Oh england is cold!!! ( no offence Ahunts and wibbs! ) we woke up and I felt like staying in the bed forever…but at 10 we all went up and made some breakfast…After they showed us the new and improved Dark Age of Camelot game. We, me and D, played it for about 1 ? year but quit after TOA came out and it is there we met Ahunts and Wibbs…=)

Anyways today we planned to go to Windsoor Castle. Personaly i love the audio guides that u got at the entrance. It’s so much simpler to listen to that a live guide ’cause often I don’t hear what he or she is saying as I’m either to far away or he/she is too boring to listen too (speaks only in one voicetone, no charisma etc.) We stroled around the Castle outside listening to it’s historical history and went inside to the dollhouse and then to the State apartments. Finally there was the Chapel but it was closed on sundays so we only saw the exterior. After the fabulous Castle we found a small sweet cafe where we got to taste the English cream tea! It was wonderful (though i madea fool of myself and though the cream was for the tea but ofcorse it was not hehe) and they had an open fire! Back at the house Ahunts prepared a sunday roast for us =). It was a lovely dinner, never had the pudding (don’t remember the name, maby Yorksire) but it was very good =)Afterwards we had a New York style cheescake yummi!!!!! =) We ended the day with the Flight Plan movie.

So, last night at queensway! Horray!!!!! Now both D and me had a nice cold due to the draft in our room…Anyways, breakkie at the hotel and then we were off. Phoned Ahunts at home and we were to meet a Marylebone Station but not the details…We had 2 hours to kill before meeting up with her and ”Wibbs” so we stroled around in the area for a bit. Not a very good area though, the only store we found interesting was The Phonehouse or as they call it here ”Callphone Warehouse”. When they arrived at the station we headed to the central parts of London, Picadilly circle. We went to china town for me to take some photos as I had left the camera at the hotel last time we were there and then walked to Leicester Square. On the way we passed many interesting stores. =) We ate at KFC and then headed back towards Picadilly to Regent where the theater for ”Phantom of the Opera” is. The musical was amazing!!!!! They were all so good and it was exciting to finally see it, the original! After we headed to Hamley’s, a big toystore. It was 5 floor high and each floor was dedicated to either girls, boys, interactive toys etc. The first thing i saw was the Narnia Staircase, a beautiful arrangement with a prop from the movie on every floor exit. I will add photos later, not just from this but from the whole trip =). On one floor they had hobbystuff and here I found a new amazing pen for my hobbie (making qute cards to birthdays and alike). It’s kind of a glue pen, you write and after 3-30 min it gets sticky and u can use some folie or glitter or aomething so the text becomes more then just orignal writing. When we (or I hehe) were satisfied we ate again….(seems like so much eating!!!!) This time we went to Planet Hollywood!!! Nice choice! The food was very good and major portions (though i chose the ribs so I only have myself to blame) so it was worth the hour of wait for a table =). After almost rolling out from Planet Hollywood we headed to the nearest underground station and headed to our hotel to pick up our bags and then we taxi:ed to Marylebone station where unforunately had to wait for about 40 min for the train. When we got home to Ahunts and Wibbs it was very late so the only thing we did was inflate the matrasse and go to sleep.

…after finishing at the cafe we made our way to the Sawyer’s Arms. This time we decided to have the rump steak. It was good, except that mine was a bit stringy…the service was good, one of the waitresses was very nice, smiled and convered but the other…never saw a smile once…

Afterwards we went back to the hotel and watched tv…a friday night and we didn’t even try to find a club…We fell asleep to ”A touch of Frost”…

Well, today it is friday… and Madame Tussaude day. We went up about 9.30 am and made ourselves ready for the big day. At 11 we went to Garfunkle’s where they remembered us from before and placed us at the same table! Nice one! It makes customers come back and we are no different. Just need to ask to be seated at her table next time so the tip gets to the right hands. After a traditional english breakfast we took the underground to Baker Street. We were quite a bit early as we couldn’t get entrance to Madame Tussaude’s util 2 pm so we picked up the tickets and stroled around in the area. At first we were a bit lost but then we actually found Sherlock Holme’s museum and gift shop! If we would have done our homework on Sherlock we would hav eknown he lives on 221b Baker street but now we were suprised, good suprise as we had an hour to kill =). I found a No smoking magnet and a keyring and D found whiskey glasses and a bookmark.

On the way back to MT we found a waffle stand for belgian waffles. ?3 for waffle and coffe so i took the waffle and D took the coffe =). Then time was 2pm and we entered Madame Tussaude’s. Fist we had the celebrity room with stars like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Patrick Stewart among others. The next room we enterd was a darker star celebrity room with guys like Sean Connery, the Indiana Jones guy, Whoopi Goldberg, Anthony Hopkins, Pierce Brosnan and many more. I think Sean Connery is a very good actor so I just had to take my pic with him =). the other rooms were famous historical people, among other things a sbreathing sleeping beauty. a train trip called spirit of London, the live chamber which was very much like Gasten in gothenbrg. though i got through it withoug screaming once =). In the end was The auditorium with a movie about stars and then the exit…I have proboly forgotten some things but this is the main things… Afterwards we headed back and went to the internet cafe and here we are now…(to be continued…)

0800
D went up to buy me some bread…He is a really nice guy! Have to remind me of that more than I do…well anyways, at 10 we set off towards chinatown. It was tricky finding the way but at 11.40 we finally got there…just to see that it was nothing but restaurants…Well, good enough for me as I was getting hungry but afcoarse they didn’t open util 12 so we had to wait. While we waited we found a gaming room where I spent some ?s…
We found a place called Super Star and had a good meal, though i didn’t get a dessert…the Passion bowl was out…=(

Well, off to Oxford street. On the way we found a ticket stand selling theatre tickets. We asked about Stomp and Fame and got ourselves a good deal on Fame but turns out D wants to see Stomp more so Stomp it is then.

On Oxford street I found my kind of stores: United colors of Benneton and Esprit. Bought a sweater and a bag on Benneton and a t-shirt on Esprit. D found his kind of store, a book shop, the biggest he had ever seen.
We found another Garfunkle’s and as our last visit was pleasent we had our lunch there. Happy and full we made our way to the theatre, Vaudeville for the Stomp show at 8 pm.
The show was amazing! I just sat there in awe and tried remembering it. I cannot describe how good it was so I will stop trying. The only bad thing was the rest of the audience who continued to applaude while the show continued…
Back at the hotel we fell asleep shortly after getting back.

Wednesday…
OMG! My back hurts!!!! The bed isn’t very soft, it’s like lying on playwood with small lumps sticking up… well, breakfast at the hotel is between 7.30 -9.30 So up at 0800…but this was not the best breakfast ever…we didn’t even get our stomachs full…

Well, off to do London. we went by underground to bakerloo Station to see if Madame Tussaude was interesting…?23 per person! We decided to go back to Paddington and get our tickets on lastminute.com. but now we were hungry so Garfunkel’s was close and cheap. Had a marguerita pizza but is was nothing to swedish standards so was still hungry after eating it…and you who know me, think how small pizza!!! well, happy and full we made our way to the internet cafe close by and ended up getting both Madame Tussaude And London Dungeons for £35! Thanks Lastminute.com!!!!

After this busy (NOT) day we stayed at the hotel resting up.
