Last day… Breakfast at Garfunkle’s as they were the hotels restaurant too. We went out hunting for the new expansion of Dark Age of Camelot: Darkness rising but we didn’t find it anywhere. We went to HMV and Hamley’s. At Hamley’s they thought first I was asking for a camera…(camelot) and when I spelled it out for them they didn’t even know what I was talking about. On HMV they were more helpful though they were sold out. Now i got tired again from the cold (the fever were not as bad now) so we went back to Paddington and ate a light lunch and headed for London Stansted (via Liverpool Street).
At Stansted there were many Taxfree stores so much to look at, window shopping is free =) We were supposed to be at the gate and boarded not later than 17.20 but they didn’t even open it until 17.50 so the flight was slightly delayed but the trip home was uneventful and we landed at Säve Flygplats at 21.05.
This is the end of the London trip!
Up with the rooster =) at 7 am we left for the train station and just missed the early train but the later one got us to Marylebone in good time, both for Wibbs work and for our London dungeon tickets that we had to pick up at 10.30. We went back to Paddington and had a light breakfast at Garfunkle’s where they started to remember us and placing us at ”our regular table” =). Lovely! This night we were to stay at Quality Crown Hotel Paddington and it was right next door. So we went there and left our luggage and headed towards London Bridge where the Dungeon lies. In the cue I got a bit nervous…As you have read earlier I am a bit scared of silly stuff…And now I had a light fever so I was not really up for it. But, to my suprise (though I had been there before but didn’t remember) it was not scary at all, sure the actors made some sudden sounds and scared some in the group but overall it was interesting. After we went tback to Paddington and checked into the hotel. We orderes the special offer, all movies and internet etc for ?14.99 but D was hungry so we went down to the lobby and thought about having dinner at KFC but went back to Garfunkle’s. This day we stayed at the hotel watching movies as my fever was lingering…Among others we watched the new Pride and Predjudice movie. It was good, but the BBC serie was better…The film was so abrubt, they had to speed things up so much that the plot almost dissapeared…
We fell asleep around midnight.
