So, in Tranås, where my parents live, there is no SEB. They have Hanndelsbanken so I decided to change. Easier said than done. I visited one HB-office in late july to get the process started.

Last week, I went in to check as they said someone was gonna contact me for a meeting but no one had. My application had not even been escalated! Fine, that can happen in holliday times… But then they started to question me about why I wanted to change and told me there had to be special reasons. She actually started to debate me and I felt so unwelcome as a customer! Luckily, I went to another office yesterday and told them of my situation. No problems at all! Got the paperwork and will go in next week and finish up, transfer everything such as autotransfers, e-invoicing etc.

How one person can destroy a whole bank’s reputation and another person restore it, says a lot about how first impression works…
